You see, Dane MacCloyd, the groomsman in question, is a walking red flag. Every charming, tatted-up, bad-boy mechanic inch of him. Plus, he’s a little too friendly with all the tourists who visit Pine Bluff, Maine, a memo Maisie didn’t get until it was too late.
But when the wedding is over, Maisie finds herself caught up in small-town corruption, and Dane is the only person who can keep her from harm. Vowing to protect her, Dane whisks Maisie away on an impromptu road trip, where they’re forced to face their misunderstandings while fighting every instinct to collide.
Will a little time away give them the answers they need? Every adventure must come to an end, but could this fling turn into forever?
Either way, it’s going to be one hell of a ride.
Coming soon.
Dear reader, due to the nature of Harley’s job as a forest ranger, search and rescue missions are mentioned with passing descriptions of tragedies. These are brief and handled with as much sensitivity as possible.
Content warnings include strong language, fully descriptive sexual acts, distressing emergent events, death, nonconsensual drug use, violence towards women, and workplace
harassment.
Harley Kouris is a forest ranger. When he isn’t avoiding the nosy people of Pine Bluff, he is usually helping clueless tourists. Hardened from pulling too many bodies out of the forest after failed selfies with bears, he isn’t used to finding people alive, let alone so boldly defiant like the beautiful woman he rescued. He is used to wild, but not this kind of wild. Who knew a woman who keeps crystals in her bra, throws back iced coffee like a shot, and clutches pepper spray like a rabid raccoon could be so cute yet reckless?
While sheltering in Harley’s cabin, a fateful tarot reading exposes the truth of their situation. As days go by, they must face not only their growing attraction, but the secrets they try to conceal.
What is Harley avoiding? What is Kaylee truly running from? Will getting stuck together set them free?
A lot can happen when you’re stormbound.
Stormbound is a steamy forced proximity, snowed in, opposites attract romance with equal parts heat and humor. This story is told in first person narration, alternating between perspectives of the main characters. No cheating (aside from the affair that kicks off the story), no cliffhangers, and guaranteed HEA.
Stormbound is the first novel in the Pine Bluff series which will contain novels about wild women and the mountain men who love them. These will be standalone novels that are interwoven for a fuller experience.
She sets to uncover what this brooding mountain man is hiding and why the townsfolk call him Cursed Carson. And what starts as curiosity turns into long nights in his cabin, skinny dipping in moonlit lakes and romps on the forest floor. All unbeknownst to her new friend and business partner, who happens to be dating his estranged brother.
Everything changes when an accidental fire erupts, and secrets they’ve both been hiding spill out.
Is his cursed reputation simply a small-town superstition, or is being with him a real threat to Rosie’s safety?
Searching for answers, they must keep their love a secret at the risk of everything going up in flames. But a connection like theirs can’t remain hidden for long.
When it comes to love, sometimes your only hope is not getting burned.
*Feverburn can be enjoyed as a standalone novel but will reveal major spoilers for Stormbound, the first book in the series. It is told from a first-person dual point of view, with no cliffhangers. If you love grumpy lumberjacks and witchy women, look no further!
